Speech Privacy

Privacy you can hear

When you can hear every word from the next desk, work suffers and private conversations are not private. Sound masking adds a soft, engineered background sound that covers speech, so nearby talk fades into the background instead of pulling focus.

As a licensed C-7 low-voltage contractor, we tune the masking to your space and add acoustic treatment on the reflective surfaces that make rooms harsh, so offices, suites, and lobbies sound calm and keep conversations where they belong, across San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Sound Masking FAQ

Sound Masking, Answered

The questions we get most when scoping a project.

Does sound masking make the room louder?
It adds a soft, steady background sound, tuned so you barely notice it. It does not make the room louder, it covers speech so nearby talk stops standing out.
Is this the same as soundproofing?
No. Soundproofing blocks sound with construction. Masking and treatment work with the room you have, raising privacy and cutting echo without a remodel.
Will it help an echoey conference room?
Yes. Acoustic panels tame the hard-surface echo that makes rooms harsh, so speech and calls come through clear.
Can it be added to our existing ceiling?
Usually yes. We retrofit masking emitters above or within most drop ceilings and open plenums, and place treatment where it does the most good.
How is it tuned?
We measure the space and calibrate the masking level and spectrum so it is even and unobtrusive, private where you need it, comfortable everywhere.
What drives the cost?
Square footage, ceiling type, how much acoustic treatment you need, and zoning. We scope each space and give you an honest, itemized range, free.
