Structured Cabling

Get the backbone right and everything works

Network, Wi-Fi, cameras, and AV all ride on the cabling underneath them. We design and install a structured backbone, terminated clean, labeled, and tested, so the systems on top perform now and have room to grow later.

As a licensed C-7 low-voltage contractor, we run copper and fiber to code, dress and label every rack, and certify the runs so you know exactly what you have.

Wired Right

The Right Cable for the Job

The backbone is not the place to cut corners, here's what we run and why.

Cat61 Gbps

The everyday standard for data, Wi-Fi access points, and IP cameras.

Cat6A10 Gbps

Longer runs and high-bandwidth devices that need headroom to spare.

FiberBackbone

Building backbones and long distances where copper cannot reach.

Coax & SpeakerAV Runs

The right cable for video, antenna, and distributed audio.

How We Work

From First Call to Final Walkthrough

One team, one process, start to finish. No handoffs, no finger-pointing, no surprises.

Consultation

We listen first. We learn how your space is used, what problem you're solving, and what success looks like, before a single product is named.

2

Design & Specification

A proper schematic and a right-sized equipment list. We spec for the application, not the easiest thing to source, and put it in writing.

Cabling FAQ

Structured Cabling, Answered

The questions we get about low-voltage cabling.

Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6 handles most everyday data, Wi-Fi, and cameras. Cat6A gives you 10 Gbps headroom for longer runs and demanding devices. We spec based on your distances and what you plan to run.
Do I need fiber?
Fiber shines for building backbones and long distances where copper cannot go. Many sites use fiber between floors or buildings and copper to the desk. We design the mix for your site.
Will the cabling be tested?
Yes. We certify the runs so you have proof each cable performs to spec, and we label and document everything so it stays serviceable.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Yes. We plan pathways and schedule work to stay out of your way, and we keep the install clean so your space is not disrupted.
Is this to code?
Yes. As a licensed C-7 low-voltage contractor we install to code, use proper pathways and support, and pull permits where required.
Can it support future growth?
We design headroom into the backbone so adding drops, cameras, and access points later is straightforward, not a rip and replace.
